How to manage client expectations

When a client expects too much it can often lead to disapointment. To guarantee client satisfaction here are three tips.


1. Reality check - 

Your work has the ability to transform a room but it can't work miracles. If a client has unrealistic expectations then it is important to tell them. Be positive but realistic. 

2. Numbers - 

Once they have agreed to the work you should begin talking about your clients budget and time expectations. Be clear about how long you expect a job to take. Hitting deadlines keeps clients happy and increases the chance of a referral. 

3. The job -

Ensure that your client is aware what to expect from you. Let them know of your working hours, who will be working with you, how things will be left overnight, etc.
